Strange Things

I visited Jude’s Blog the other day and saw these strange things in her post and just had to have a go. However, I spent all morning playing around on the site when I should have been working. Here are a few of my favourites:

You Are 50% Left Brained, 50% Right Brained

The left side of your brain controls verbal ability, attention to detail, and reasoning.
Left brained people are good at communication and persuading others.
If you're left brained, you are likely good at problem solving and logic.
Your left brain prefers dogs, reading, and quiet.

The right side of your brain is all about creativity and flexibility.
Daring and intuitive, right brained people see the world in their unique way.
If you're right brained, you likely have a talent for creative writing and art.
Your right brain prefers day dreaming, philosophy, and being active.

Trust me to be slap bang in the middle. However, it does sum me up quite well. I was rather impressed.

You Are 20% Nerdy

You are definitely not nerdy - in fact, you probably don't know any nerds.
You probably care a little too much about your image. No one will know if you secretly watch Star Trek re-runs!

Not much of a secret now though, is it?

Your Dominant Thinking Style: Visioning

You are very insightful and tend to make decisions based on your insights.
You focus on how things should be - even if you haven't worked out the details.

An idealist, thinking of the future helps you guide your path.
You tend to give others long-term direction and momentum.

I thought this hit the nail on the head too. Quite amazing really when you just check a load of multiple choice questions. This next one made me laugh. I'm not telling you what the unusual habits are and if you've spotted them I suggest you keep them to yourself. But, they're right about me lieing awake at night. I find it really difficult to get to sleep.

You Are Midnight

You are more than a little eccentric, and you're apt to keep very unusual habits.
Whether you're a nightowl, living in a commune, or taking a vow of silence - you like to experiment with your lifestyle.
Expressing your individuality is important to you, and you often lie awake in bed thinking about the world and your place in it.
You enjoy staying home, but that doesn't mean you're a hermit. You also appreciate quality time with family and close friends.

But, I must say this next one is my favourite.

Your Hidden Talent

You have the natural talent of rocking the boat, thwarting the system.
And while this may not seem big, it can be.
It's people like you who serve as the catalysts to major cultural changes.
You're just a bit behind the scenes, so no one really notices.

I love the idea of being a catalyst to major cultural changes. Hey Lis, maybe my wooly hat will catch on!

Well there you go! What a way to spend a day. So Jude if you happen to read this - you inspired me to start this blog and you're still an inspiration to me. Great, isn't it?

Hi Anita!

Thank you for stopping by and visiting and commenting on my blog! You and I may just be "twins"! I am also 41 years old and I am also a Leo! Isn't that kind of cool?

I was sort of browsing your site and it looks like you have accomplished quite a bit in your life! Good for you.

I liked this last post...I wonder what time I am? I may have to do them as well.

Anita- glad you enjoyed the blog things. They are very addictive aren't they? Inspired by me? I'm flattered. Thanks

Hi Ellie,

Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. In fact, leaving tow commnets. I will add a link to you too, especially as we are fellow Leonians.

Although, I do tell everyone I'm 28. Sad, thing is they use to believe me but, the lines of doubt appear on their face nowadays.

You know when you go in the car and you automatically let the oldest person sit in the front passenger seat without thinking? Well, when I was going out with my friends a few months ago I noticed they all just got in the back and let me sit in the front. That's when I realised I must be looking my age.

Ah, well! Think I mught invest in some more moisturiser.

Just re-visited these comments and you know what? My spelling is awful. I wish blogger had an automatic spell check for the comments section.

Hi Anita, I love your blog and read it regularly.
Well, I did them all, and what a hotch-potch person I am. Apparently I love my home, but am a midnight person who loves adventure. I'm 40% left brain and 60% right. Truly addictive, aren't they? I'm a sucker for these quick tests and believe everything they tell me. So, ... I'm off to backpack around the world, but fully expect to be in tears every step of the journey because, as the test said, I like my home, too! Ah, well.
(Kay from Wordpool, by the way, don't have a blog of my own, yet.)

Hi Kay,
It is lovely to hear you read my blog regularly and I do appreciate you leaving a message. The thing I found with these blog things is - if you go back and do them all over again you get totally different answers. I suppose it depends on the mood you're in on the day. Just so you all know, today I'm a sunset person. I wonder if it has anything to do with the awful cold I've got.

Guess what? I'm different today, too! Bet that's because I'm a Gemini, or perhaps it's because I'm simply a ditherer, one day this, one day that.

But more to the point (not being technically minded, thus, not knowing how to sign in on here as 'Kay' ... how do I get to do that? ...I am now 'Anonymous' and I quite like it. Shades of slinky woman, not known to anyone ((except those on Wordpool who know me well)) sailing through hyperspace, nameless and free!)

Ah, sigh! We all have our dreams, and mine was to be a spy, so this is a start!!!

Hark, the men in white coats commeth knocking!!!

Hi Kay,
I hope you managed to dodge the men in white coats. To sign in you have to sign up to a google account. It is fairly easy and painless and best of all it is FREE. Only trouble is, when I did it, I was tempted to start blogging myself and it can be a great time-waster.
